The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. It only 5 miles or less to local groceries, boutique shops, plenty of churches in all denominations. Drive into High Point t visit the furniture showrooms. Depending which ones you go to your travel time will be between 10 to 30 minutes. Many people make special trips here to by furniture. High Point is touted as the "furniture capital of the world." Within 30-45 minutes you can visit art galleries and musuems in Greensboro and Winston-Salem. You can also visit many area attractions that are near one hour or less. The N.C. Zoo is a great zoo with realistic enclosures. Wet-N=Wild water park is in Greensboro. Seagrove pottery is a popular attraction that could be about 2 hours away. Old Salem is an historic enacted colonial Quaker village. There is lots of great shopping in High Point, Greensboro and Winston-Salem.
