We are located near the center of Redding, a small town of approximately 80,000 people. The highlights of Redding are the Sundial Bridge, a recently completed pedestrian bridge designed by Santiago Calatrava, the Turtle Bay museum, and the great outdoors surrounding the city. Redding is not known for great shopping or fine dining, but it promises blue sky all summer and is a great place to stage outdoor adventures of all kinds. Escape the summer heat by visiting any lake or hiking in the mountains.

Whiskeytown Lake is a recreation area 10 miles west of the city offering a beautiful lake for swimming and boating and many miles of trails for hiking and mountain biking. Also Lassen National Park (10,400 ft MSL) is located 50 miles east of Redding and Mount Shasta (14, 160 ft MSL) is located 50 miles north of Redding. The Trinity Alps offer unlimited backcountry destinations as well. Lake Shasta, 10 miles north of Redding, is popular for water skiing and houseboat rentals.
